encfs for home directory: encfsctl, /etc/security/pam_encfs.conf

Disable “Port Bridge” in CHT router: [Advanced Setup]⇒[LAN Setup]⇒[Ethernet Port Configure]. Hope this will fix the pinging problems. See this page.
